Tongue of the Spear follows Adong Klara, a charismatic farmer of northern Uganda mobilizing neighbors through song and action to stop the theft of their land by a wealthy diasporan promising development. While Klara’s generation exhibits tremendous collective power in their quest to protect the land, their offspring are more excited about the prospects of selling it off.
